Abbeywood Wedding Photography – Sarah and David

Sarah and David’s wedding at the Abbeywood Estate was already set to be so special in itself. You’ll probably remember the weekend well we had really crazy rain forecast after weeks of dry beautiful sunshine, but in fact on the day we had a small miracle with the weather!

I spoke to the lovely couple the evening before their wedding to talk about the forecasted heavy rain. We discussed that if there was an opening in the weather we may have to tweak their photo time line to accommodate. It’s always good to plan ahead but in the end there was no need, the rain stopped as soon as we left church and started again late afternoon,  perfectly timed for their wedding breakfast! Would you believe the sun came out in time for speeches too! The moral of this story would be don’t get worried about weather forecast during the lead up to your wedding. We cannot control the weather but we can work with it and rock what ever it throws at us.

Sarah and David’s wedding ceremony at St Laurence Church, in Frodsham was really beautiful. They had set the church up so they could be married in the middle surrounded by all their friends and family.

We then made our way to the brilliant Abbeywood Estate in Delamere. Sarah and David’s décor was so gorgeous! You can tell they put so much effort into the styling of their wedding. I loved their pastel colour scheme, especially the little pom poms and pretty letters.

The night ended with a brilliant celidh band, everyone was up dancing and laughing. I created a little film of the dancing which you can see at the end of the post.

I had such a wonderful day with Sarah and David and their families. Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer.
